Default Multiple connections to SQL 2K5 Express..

Does SQL 2005 Express allow for multiple connections thru ODBC?

If I have an executable running that is populating a table, I cannot Link or
view that table using Access as the frontend (ODBC connection failed). If I
have the table opened in Access (which is linked to the sql table), I cannot
run the executable (errors out with an unable to connect error). I can do
one or the other, but I cannot do both. Is there a setting in SQL Express
or ODBC that I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.
