Hi

I encountered this error since we migrated from winnt to
win2000 and from SQL7 to SQL 2000. We had latest service
packs but it didn't help. The error occurs at least once
per day and the connection is fine but sometime it didn't
work. I am not sure what is the cause of it. When it fail
to connect, record will not insert into the database.
Here the error
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot open
database requested in login 'database name'. Login fails.
