 RE: How I can MSSQL dat file from 6.5 into a databse I created in MSSQL 7 To transition data between 6.5 and 7.0 you need to go through the Migration Wizard which comes with SQL 7.0 (which coincidentally should run fine side by side with 6.5 on your WinNT 4.0 server). There are critical conversion steps which must take place with the data pages. You might want to post further questions to the sqlserver.setup section as it's more appropriate.
