Default Remote connect and encounter SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

Hi,

I have tried to remote access my SQL server (from remote host to our
localserver) but there is an error as below:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]SQL Server does not exist
or access denied.

When I try to connect within our LAN (from one PC to the local SQL server) it
works great.

Pls advise......

winwin

I've got the exact same problem, and turning off my firewall didn't
solve any problems.
