| Backup up any databases you might want to keep. Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Microsoft SQL Server 2000. If you want to be really thorough you could remove the MSSQL key from HKLM\Software\Microsoft, but that is overkill. Reboot your server, reinstall the current service pack of Windows 2000, then reinstall SQL. -- *********************************** Andy S. andy_mcdba@yahoo.com *********************************** "mike young" <myoung007@verizon.net> wrote in message news:K7kab.5873$uF3.4993@nwrddc01.gnilink.net... > how do i remove sql from my win2k server in prep for a fresh install of > mssql? > > > |
