Hello,

Could machine having ODBC SQL Driver version 2000.85.1022 connect
properly to SQL Server 2008 on other machine? This version of ODBC
driver is default in windows 2000 and it works improperly with SQL
Server 2008. It produces random errors in our system. Updating SQL
Driver to newer version either by installing MDAC 2.8 SP1 or .NET (don't
know which version) solves the problem.

I have not seen anywhere technical requirements for such situation so
that's why I'm asking here if there exists any limitations.
