| I am using an SQL Server 2000 db. I have a VPN concentrator that a few users use to access the system from home. Everything used to work, now it doesn't. They can get into the LAN using their usercode/password combination. They can get to Outlook for email. It takes a very long time to connect, but it does. I can copy files from drives mapped to the server. However, anything having to do with ODBC returns an error. Even if I try to set up a new ODBC connection from the remote client, I get the error. The clients run TCP/IP. This is the error: connection failed: SQL State 'HYT00' SQL Server error: 0 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL ServerDriver] timeout expired Any ideas as to what may have happened? The server is set to auto update. Could a patch have caused this problem? |
