Default UTF8 - Kanji - Unicode

I am using OpenQuery to retrieve data UTF8 data in a text column from a MySql
database. When I bring it acroos it seems like I have lost the double-byte
data. I'm using the MySql ODBC connector.

I've also tried using DTS with no success. Can anyone tell me how I can
bring in double-byte data from MySql to SQL Server?

Thanks
Paul
