Default Connecting Access and MySQL

Hi,

I try to connect MySQL and Microsoft Access.
I loaded mysql-connector-odbc-3.51.12. It is installed and configured. When
testing I get a confitmation: Succes, connection was made.
Trying tot make connection form Access 2003 I get the message
[MySQL][ODBC][User cancelled].
I use the same username as calling MySQL form PHP (with succes): 'User'.
What's going wrong?
I use MySQL 4.0.20

Piet

I'm not sure how you're trying to connect, but I've always had success
by linking the tables. Here's a quick tutorial that explains the
process:

Hope this helps!

Default Re: Connecting Access and MySQL

I did read your help and tried this:
Do not connect from the controlpanel, but direct from access. It worked!
Thanks.
