| Hi, what isn't a problem in Oracle seems to be in MySql a program is doing inserts in a table without interuption or stalling. Doing a select is no problem in Oracle as long as your rollback segents are big enogh (otherwise you get a an error) Doing the same in MySql blocks the inserting program as long as you do a select on this table.
