 New utility - automatic offsite backup to Amazon S3 - need help Howdy, I *need help* to test the upcoming release of the S3SQL utility (free community edition) for automatic, encrypted and de-duplicated backup of MySQL to Amazon S3's web service. It can be scripted at command line, or run through simple browser based UI. I take my data security or any company data security a whole lot more seriously than anyone that would use such a service. Kind-of like those "storage vault/ internet storage device" for PC/internet users of yester-year... that were hacked regularly -- you don't see many of those still around... except maybe this secobackup site... |
