| Juan, InnoDB Hot Backup is non-free. A 1-year license costs 390 euros + VAT, and a perpetual license 990 euros + VAT. http://www.innodb.com/order.php The Perl script innobackup can be used to make consistent backups of MyISAM tables also, but those backup require the locking of MyISAM tables, and are not in that sense 'hot' or 'online'. InnoDB Hot Backup works with all MySQL versions up to 5.1. Best regards, Heikki Oracle Corp./Innobase Oy InnoDB - transactions, row level locking, and foreign keys for MySQL .................................... Hi Juan, Thanks a lot for the quick reply.
