| Dear Chris, sorry for delayed answer. I missed to see your kind post. Datatime has at the moment an "universal connector" which allows to connect to any DBMS via OLEDB. Included SYBASE. In fact it is only matter of providing the connection string. As a shortcut we have also added a panel with "common connections" where as to now we have included Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and somo common file formats. And I guess you are referring to this panel. The reason why Sybase is not listed in the common connections is very simple and does not implies an evaluation on DBMS'. We are developing Datatime right now and we did NOT get the chance to connect to a Sybase server to make the testing (Unfortunately here, in Italy, where we are, Sybase is practically unknown). If we can help spread we would be happy to contribute. If anyone here could provide a test connection or complimentary server sw for win we would be very happy to add SYBASE to the common connection and also to support the possible SQL variants. We just need some support. That is why we are seeking help from expert users like yourself. Your help will be greatly appreciated. PS we have just finished the WEB export routine here is a sample: http://cam70.sta.uniroma1.it/Technic...ansparency.htm Adriana ..NET Developer Datatime Team http://cam70.sta.uniroma1.it/Technic...ew/Default.htm |
