Default 10g RAM Requirement
RH9
PIII; 320 MB RAM; 60GB Disk

I am looking to install latest download of 10g for personal PLAYING on this
PC.
I had 9iR2 on this thing with no problem.

Now does 10g REALLY demand 512 MB RAM MINIMUM ?
or can I get by with my meager RAM ?

You can get by. 256MB is workable. My own gut feel is that you can't get
away with small RAM as much with 10g as you could with 9i, but that's just
anecdotal.

just want to add that install went thru without a hitch.
performance wise it's actually not too shabby.
I also shutdown all "production" components (dbconsole, isqlplus, CSS)
