I have a legal right to use Erwin 4.0; i.e. I have the Keys; but, the
CD broke.
I asked CA (Computer Associates) and they cannot seem to find any of
the 4.0 CDs.... (sounds kind of weird; considering that they are at
version 4.1.4; but... what ever).

Does anyone have a copy of the CD ? I would download it from an FTP
server or you could mail me a copy. I would pay for any reasonable
costs.

Remeber, I am not asking to do anything illegal; just copying the
media; i.e. I still need to have a valid KEY (which I have) to use the
software.

I have contacted CA within the last 60 days and their support
people were more than happy to help out.

Then, again, maybe your BS meter is not off; it is just that I am not
the source but the destination of the BS (i.e. CA being the source in
this case)
