| If it's not in the database directory it was either deleted or th database was never started in multiuser mode ****** From documentatio Progress creates a license file that records license-relate information about Progress 9.1 database users. If the license file doe not already exist, the broker creates it and places it in the sam directory as the database (.db) file. The broker creates the file i the format databasename.lic, where databasename is the name of th database where the user connects NOTE: If Progress encounters an error while trying to open or write t the license file, the error is recorded in the database .lg file and n more entries are written to the license (.lic) file Reading the License Fil Use a text editor to display the license file contents. The content appear in the following order 1. Current dat 2. Current tim 3. Number of licensed users specified by the configuration fil 4. Current number of total connection 5. Maximum number of total connection 6. Minimum number of total connection 7. Current number of interactive connection 8. Maximum number of interactive connections for the past hou 9. Minimum number of interactive connections for the past hou 10. Current number of batch connection 11. Maximum number of batch connections for the past hou 12. Minimum number of batch connections for the past hou For example, the following sample file entry illustrates the lo format 1/3/97 9:00 25 18 23 11 17 20 11 1 5 When Progress writes to the license file, the maximum and minimu values are reset for the next hour -- cecsn ----------------------------------------------------------------------- cecsno's Profile: http://www.progresstalk.com/member.p...nfo&userid=423 View this thread: http://www.progresstalk.com/showthre...?threadid=7173 |
