EN-673 C++/Java Software Engineer - Staff - Chicago, IL (local
candidates only)

A leading developer of high-performance platforms for providing real
time data feeds for the banking / trading industries needs a senior
software engineer with C++, Java, Unix Applications, Websphere and
Tomcat web server experience.

You will be responsible for full lifecycle development on assigned
software projects.

You must have 5+ years using C++ and Java language in a Unix
environment, plus some relational database expertise (Oracle, MySQL,
ANSI SQL). A banking or mathematical background is preferred.

Location: Downtown Chicago near the Art Institute

Required Experience:

o. 5+ years hands-on coding real time systems in C++ and Java (Both
Required)

o. 3+ years experience coding in Unix, Linux and Windows (Required)

o. 3+ years experience coding in Oracle, MySQL, ANSI SQL or other RDMS
(Required)

o. Experience with Websphere and Tomcat web servers (Required)

o. BSCS or higher degree (Required)

o. Familiarity with XML, MQ series and/or SWIFT format messages is a
plus

o. Knowledge of POSIX threads and threading concepts a plus

o. Multi-threading and TCP/IP socket programming skills a plus

o. Previous experience coding real-time banking or trading systems a
major plus
