| EN-660 Sr. Software Dev / Technical Lead * San Fran or So. Bay, CA The leading developer of products for data synchronization, integration, continuity, migration, and warehousing is seeking additional C/C++ software developers who hunger to solve complex problems. This is a challenging full-time position with a company that provides excellent technical and career opportunities for a talented and enthusiastic developer. Responsibilities: As technical lead you must exhibit a strong knowledge of the source code and architecture and be able to use that knowledge to mentor other developers and solve difficult problems. You will have two distinct roles: One role is to mentor developers, schedule resources, and track/report progress of the development staff. The second role is to triage customer and prospect issues and resolve high priority or difficult issues as necessary. The time allocated for each of these roles should be split 50/50 throughout a normal workday. Requirements: o. 5+ years developing database related applications in C/C++ (Required) o. Expert-level experience with database programming, including dynamic SQL and database APIs (Required) o. Experience with one or more of the following databases: Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS SQLServer, Sybase(Required) o. Experience with two or more of the following platforms: Win2K, Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, IBM MF (OS/390 or z/OS)(Required) Notes: o. The company is currently headquartered in the SF financial district close to BART, but will soon be opening another development office somewhere in the mid-Peninsula to reduce commute times for employees in the South Bay. o.
