A developer of digital media devices and chipsets needs a technical
writer to collect and organize technical and marketing information,
and create documentation that is consistent, logical, well-written and
well formatted


Duties and Responsibilities

o. Create and edit datasheets, specifications, application notes,
reference guides, manuals and more
o. Recommend documentation improvements such as addition or
modification of graphics, pictures and more
o. Recommend documentation guidelines for information contributors
o. Maintain product documentation repository
o. Improve documentation work flow
o. Liaise with printing company to produce product manuals



Requirements

o. 2+ years experience creating specifications, user guides, etc (both
hardware and software) for electronics products (Required)
o. Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Framemaker, Photoshop and Acrobat
(Required)
o. Experience with XML and HTML (Required)
o. Experience in the semiconductor industry a plus
o. Experience documenting digital media devices a major plus
