| Hi, here at SAS, on MS Win platform we are currently supporting Postgres 7.3.4.2 and Xythos 4.0.48. for some of our installation, but we found the following problem using Postgres 8 and in particolar using the JDBC driver: We used postgres 8 Beta1(which uses pg74.214.jdbc3.jar driver) and it worked properly. After that we moved to Beta4 and then even to RC4) but it never worked it again. In RC4 the jdbc is: pg80b1.308.jdbc3.jar Eventually we changed the jdbc driver (in RC4) and used the old pg74.214.jdbc3.jar and it worked! What logs can be useful to collect for deep investigation? I'm in the Customer Support Group and not in the development one, and so I do not report any "company wide" feeling. But because we are "only" supporting 7.3.4 and CgWin and we do use 8 internally, and would be much better for customer too, I would like to investigate it further more. Thanks Vincenzo Volpe SAS... Simply saying that it "didn't work" is not helpful.
