On the 8.0.4 db cluster, I get the following:
template1=# SHOW lc_ctype;
lc_ctype
-------------
fr_FR.UTF-8
(1 ligne)

Temps : 1,041 ms
template1=# SHOW server_encoding;
server_encoding
-----------------
UNICODE
(1 ligne)

Temps : 0,562 ms

On the 8.0.2 db cluster, I get:
template1=# SHOW lc_ctype;
lc_ctype
-------------
fr_FR.UTF-8
(1 ligne)

Temps : 76,591 ms
template1=#
template1=# SHOW server_encoding;
server_encoding
-----------------
UNICODE
(1 ligne)

Temps : 0,621 ms

Any clue ?
