Default Hot plugging internal disks on a Blade 2000?

Note: This is a lark question, more "could", not necessarily "should".

Has anyone tried hot-plugging the internal disks on their Blade 2000?
I've taped down the kill switch so I can pull off the cover without
powering down the machine, mostly because I want to be able to peek
inside sometimes without shutting down.

I've got two disks inside, mirrored. If I wanted to, could I offline
one side of the mirror, pull the disk, and replace it? I don't *have*
to - this machine is a toy, and I've already bounced it twice in the past
two days. I'm just considering for giggles and maybe some "WTF?" action
from my PC-using coworkers.

Me too.

I tried it when I was having trouble with the machine originally. It didn't
break it any more than it was already broken.

Switching from a RealVNC desktop on a PC to Solaris and back is good for some
"Huh?" responses, too.
