| Hi, Got a little query regarding multicast from Solaris on a net with Cisco routers. The Cisco () gives a message once in a while in its log, often enough to make the network people call. Message in Cisco looks as follows... %MCAST-2-IGMP_ADDRAL:IGMP: Address Aliasing for 01-00-5e-00-00-01 %MCAST-2-IGMP_FALLBACK:IGMP: Running in FALL BACK mode %MCAST-2-IGMP_ADDRALDETAILS:IGMP: Multicast address aliasing: From 08-00-20-xx-xx-xx (aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd) on 2/1 to 01-00-5e-00-00-01 sunhost The real mac, ip and hostname pointing out a sun system in the network. I've read the page at... http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473...tml#subtopic1g ....and tried to find what the sun does that conflicts, but cant really find that it does anything that it shouldnt. Everything is working fine from a sun perspective and I just wonder if any of the people reading this group might have an idea about this. in.routed is not running, but some system that logged this is running clusters (both veritas and sun cluster) Anya ideas?
