I discovered there was no name_to_major entry in the file for qfe.
When I added it, the driver packages installed fine.

Just a note: For some reason the first reboot hung (even without
video) so I put in a cd, power up and the system booted fine.

I had to set the local_mac_address? true property even though the
existing quad card didn't require that.
