| HI, This is a VERY urgent thing This might be a pure Swedish issue but I think there are some Swedes here aswell since we have minor Telco company based here which has a few Suns still... When listening to http://www.sr.se and webradio "P3 Star" pop radio channel, the graphics for the Realnetworks player does not look so nice, the lower lines which displays "Playing (96kbps)..." is cut i.e they are not shown fully. Is this onlyu for me or what? background. I just got myself the latest IMAC and then this looks so nice, so should UNIX be so broken /michael |

I don't know what's broken but I do see it even with players other than Real. WHen I see bad rendering, I usually find that nothing plays as well. So consider yourself lucky if it does play even though bits are cut off. |

There are quite some Suns in Sweden still and that telco company is shipping loads of OEM Suns all over the world. > When listening to http://www.sr.se and webradio "P3 Star" pop radio > channel, the graphics for the Realnetworks player does not look so nice, > the lower lines which displays "Playing (96kbps)..." is cut i.e they are > not shown fully. > > Is this onlyu for me or what? It looks a little broken here too, but I'm rarely _watching_ (web)radio. The sound seems OK except for the content. > background. I've noticed the same problem you described on many sites on both x64 and sparc platforms. The basic functionality of the realplayer browser plugin (in Firefox) usually works but advanced features such as full screen or fast forward rarely work. When possible I prefer downloading the file or streaming to stand alone realplayer rather than playing it in the browser plugin. Most radio and tv stations I've been watching offer streaming directly to stand-alone player. /Karl D |
