Default Sun PCI will not connect to domain

I have a sun PCI that refuses to see the domain. I am getting a
sunpci2drv: Sunpci_eropen: already open error on the console. Any
suggestions?

More information would be good. Does the thing run OK without attaching
to the domain? What OS is loaded and what kind of doamin - W2K or NT?
