| I've got a SunPCi II pro card which was used with no problems in my Ultra 80 for a long time. I've since got a Blade 2000 and a SunPCi III card, which again works OK. I've tried to put the SunPCi II card in an old Ultra 60, but it has been less than stable, with numerous 'Blue Screen of Deaths'. I'm going to reinstall Windows and hope that cures it, but if not I am tempted to put this SunPCi II pro card in my Blade 2000, along with the SunPCi III card (I want to let someone else get access to the SunPCi II card remotely). Has anyone ever run a SunPCi III and a SunPCi II pro card in the same machine? I gather from the SunPCi III manual that this is not supported, but my guess is that it will probably work, or can be made to work. The packages install into different directories, but I've no idea if any of the drivers have common names. |

There are various tests in the scripts which check for version 2 and will not allow version 3 to be installed if 2 is present. I give up i think! |
