Default 08.02.0500 SELECT * returns double width for char columns

In 08.02.0500 statement

SELECT * FROM desktop limit 0

returns double with for all character type columns.

If I use column name in select statement like

SELECT baas FROM desktop limit 0

It returns correct width of baas column (8 characters).
In previous version driver returns correct widths in SELECT * statement.

How to fix ?

Environment:

Unicode version of driver
Windows XP
VFP 9 SP1
