Default troubles with configure script on solaris ...

when testing the ipv6 patch for the most recent version of the odbc
driver I came across a problem with the configure script on Solaris 9:

[postgres@unknown psqlodbc-08.00.0102_64]$
CFLAGS='-I/platdb/odbc64/include/' LDFLAGS='-L/platdb/odbc64/lib'
../configure --prefix=/tmp

configure: error: no suitable ODBC driver manager found

i am trying to compile the code with the command line shown above.
however, the unix odbc driver manager is not found although it has been
installed properly:

[postgres@unknown psqlodbc-08.00.0102_64]$ ls -l /platdb/

my compile script works perfectly well with the older odbc driver (7). i
have seen that some code has been changed inside the build script. maybe
somebody can point me to a fix.

best regards,

hans
