| [Please keep replies on-list] It sounds like you donąt have write permission on your %APPDATA%\postgresql directory. Theat would explain why you couldnąt write either of the two files that pgAdmin stores there. Regards Dave. | Thank you Dave, but it does not proceed. I could write some files on this directory you mention. Curiously I found a pgpass.conf up there. Would you have another suggestion my friend ? Sure - grap a copy of filemon from http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.html, and recreate the error with it running. Hopefully it'll show exactly what file operation is failing.
