I have just installed Postgres 8.2.6 on a XP box. The server is running
fine.

However I need to get a hold of libpq.dll and it does not exist in the
lib subdirectory (or anywhere I thought of to search)! Only a libpq.a file.

How do I go about creating or obtaining a copy of libpq.dll from what is
included in the distribution. I did a full install with the windows
installer package.
