| Hello When I boot my machine Sun I can see the following message Can't read disk label Can't open disk label package Boot device : net File and Args : Timeout Waiting for ARP/RARP packet Can you help me to reinstall the system? I don't know what's happen. I've juste wanted to install systme from cd rom. But now, I can't connect anything. Thanks. |

The system then tries to boot from the network. Press Stop-A to get an OK> prompt, then type the command boot cdrom The installation will probably fail with "no disk label" messages (only disks from Sun come with a Sun disk label installed). So you better open a command shell, and run format and answer the question "label now?" with yes. If the installation has already failed, redo the installation. -- Michael Tosch IT Specialist HP Managed Services Germany Phone +49 2407 575 313 Mail: michael.tosch:hp.com |

| It seems like your boot disk drive does not have valid pre-installed Solaris Operating system or missing label information. Thanks. Youngjin Kim GSHiis, Inc.
