Default Breaking mirror

I'm new to system admin and I've been asked to break off mirror.
Anyone could tell me how mirroring and striping are done according to
vxprint output below? Is this strip pro (RAID 1+0) description ? Which
disk mirrors what ? Does LOG means RAID 5 (parity information)? and
how to stop mirroring ? Thanks !

What do you want to do with the broken mirror? Does it move to another
machine and need to be mountable? Just dissociating one of the plexes
doesn't make it easy to do that.

One of the easiest ways is just to shut down and yank the disk out. It
leaves all the structures on both disks in a consistent state for later
use.

yes, this is a striped-pro volume. However you can convert between
stripe-mirror and mirror-stripe rapidly (seconds). So I often convert
just to see things more easily.

vxassist convert inolesybvol layout=mirror-stripe
(use stripe-mirror to convert back).

Once converted to 0+1, it's trivial to do a vxplex dis <plex> if that's
what you need.

Perhaps you want to use the vxassist snapshot stuff instead...
