What does solaris use for call home/hardware notification? HP uses EMS/
ISEE, AIX uses the HMC (if it's there), what does Sun use?

I've seen the notification portion within the ALOM (V245), that will
let me know, but not sun. Is there anything else and I'm missing it?

There are various methods starting with Sun Explorer, which sends a regular
system status package, up to Sun Managed Services
(http://www.sun.com/service/managedservices/index.jsp) There is a list of
services in http://www.sun.com/service/index.jsp
