Default Device Serial Number

It is easy for me to get device (for example: tape drive) S/N on AIX:
lscfg -vpl rmt10
rmt10 U7879.001.DQD01HM-P1-C2-T1-W50*050763004E770B-L0
IBM
3580 Ultrium Tape Drive (FCP)

Manufacturer................IB*M
Machine Type and Model......ULT3580-TD2
Serial Number...............111006303*1
Device Specific.(FW)........47Q0

I searched in this group, no luck.

Can anyone tell me know to get device S/N on SUN Solaris and HP-UX?

TIA

looks like the "iostat -En" can work for disk, not tape drives, same
drive shares with AIX, but can get S/N from AIX.
