Normally, its just /cdrom or /cdrom1 if you have more than one. You dont have to mount anything manually, volume manager will take care of that for you. It would be useful to know specifically which operating system you're asking about. The newsgroups you posted to cover a potentially wide range of UNIX operating systems. Is it Solaris 8 x86, SunOS 4.1.2, UNIX Seventh Edition, Digital UNIX 4.0F, ... ??? |
