| Hi, I have a jumpstart server which has 2 network interfaces to install jumpstart client in different network. How do I set up the jumpstart server to handle this multiple netmasks and network thing? Thanks! |

I have only doen this when using JET (JumpStart Enterprise Tooklit) avaialable from http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/content/jet/ (latest version 3.4.0) and it was "relatively easy. You will need to set up your multiple interfaces (either as virtual or real) and have the relevent entries in the /etc/netmasks file. If you don't reboot the server, then restart in.rarpd. Using the the JET templates define the network and netmask of the client and the rest is just like magic :-) HTH -- Bruce *(Emails to the posted address will be ignored)* "The internet is a huge and diverse community and not every one is friendly" http://www.ytc1.co.uk |
