Default jumpstart & kernel/unix file

Hi,

I try to jumpstart an Ultra-1 workstation with Solaris 8 via a DHCP
Jumpstart.
My Jumpstart server runs on Solaris 6.
I have the following error after boot net:dhcp - install on the workstation
:

boot: cannot open file kernel/unix
Enter filename [kernel/unix] :

i tried to prompt '/platform/sun4u/kernel/unix', or 'kernel/unix' but it
doesn't work.

any idea ?

thks,

V

You might need to flash the PROM in order to support DHCP.
Get patch 104881-08 for Ultra-1 from sunsolve.sun.com.

A limerick packs laughs anatomical
Into space that is quite economical.
But the good ones I've seen
So seldom are clean,
And the clean ones so seldom are comical.

I checked the OBP and it is version 3.25.0
It was upgraded few months ago and it is supposed to be DHCP compliant
I don't know how to solve it...
