| Query: Would I be better served using the Sun LDAP that comes with Solaris 9 or using OpenLDAP? Basically, I have a small home network of about 5 systems - 3 Solaris, 1 Irix and one Linux/Solarix x86 box. I would like to unify my user namespace. On one of the Solaris boxes, I run Sendmail that uses SASLv2 TLS encrypted SMTP authentication. So, I'm concerned how well that will play with LDAP and if it will play better with one or the other. Lastly, does pam_dap and ldapclient care what its LDAP source is? -tom -- Everyday, thousands of new cars are delivered to their new owners with poorly-selected radio station presets. |
