Default nfs-problem (Solaris 8)

Hi,

I have a weird problem with nfs.
Our file-serever (Sunblade 1000 with Solaris 8) offers a number of
shared directories via nfs.
If a user uploads directories with many small files or with a single
very big file, the mashine tends to crash and reboot immediately.

Is there a general problem with the nfs of Solaris 8 ?
Since the mashine creates no logs about the crash I don't know what to
look for to find the bug. Any proposals ?

Looking forward to any help.

Greetings,

Daniel

I have seen things you lusers would not believe.
I've seen Sun monitors on fire off the side of the multimedia lab.
I've seen NTU lights glitter in the dark near the Mail Gate.
All these things will be lost in time, like the root partition last week.
Time to die.
