| Hi, I have a PCI I/O card with 2 serial ports on it. I plugged the card in a Sun Blade 150. But the Solaris doenot seem to know about it. Solaris Management Console or the admintool doesnt list any aditional serial ports. Can someone tell me what should be done to set up the additional ports on the card? I suppose some special files for the devices will have to be created for them. Can someone help? Many thanks. Chan |

| Hi Dave, I didnot do any reconfiguration boot or devfsadm. I should have confessed that my knowledge in Solaris is very limited and dont know about reconfiguration boot and devfsadm. Could you please list the steps that I should follow to configure the additonal ports into the system? Many thanks for your help.
