If you accurately describe the HW and what it comes with, include picture, you'll either get responses or not. Don't expect it to be worth much. Most of the non-Ultra SPARC systems were about $100 or so. Shipping would be expensive, especially if you include the monitor. -- DeeDee, don't press that button! DeeDee! NO! Dee... |

Hmm, some ancient low-end workstation hardware that is 14 years old? I saw a few eBay listings for $1-3 that didn't have any takers. They've already gone through the nostalgia phase, and are to the point where there's way more around than anybody wants. |

Auction them in Ebay, with a starting price of $1. If you're lucky, you might even get a taker. -- Rich Teer, SCNA, SCSA, author of "Solaris Systems Programming" President, Rite Online Inc. They really have no value, and are best put in a bin. Sorry if that disappoints you, but there is no doubt a lot of people (myself included) who have thrown them in the bin. |

I just had a look at the completed auctions on eBay *UK* for IPX's http://search-completed.ebay.co.uk/s...tyZ1 QQsotrZ2 and see one failed to sell with a starting prince of $0.99, another failed to sell with a starting prince of $4.99, yet one did sell in France for EUR 15.5 I see an Ultra 1 sell for 20 UK pounds a couple of months back, which I must admit did surprise me. I see someone trying to sell some SS20's with 150 MHz HyperSPARCs and 128 MB of RAM, and was unable to sell any of the ten he had, despite starting at 20 pounds. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...81411 51&rd=1 |
