You can configure another subnet on the original interface if your
network supports it. This can be nice for some things, but wouldn't be
appropriate for say a firewall. It would eliminate the need to move
hardware around and wire up another port.

One interface is on the motherboard. You can add additional interfaces
via expansion slots.

Any sbus card with drivers in your OS should work. 'le', 'hme', and
'qfe' would be the most popular drivers to support such hardware. There
were other cards that used the 'be' drivers (10/100, half-duplex only)
that are no longer supported.
