Default Restrict DHCP replies?

Is it possible to restrict replies of a DHCP server to request broadcasts
based on the hardware ethernet address of the requesting client?
If yes, how?

The only way to restrict that using Sun's DHCP server is to assign
all known clients a fixed IP address in the address tables.
