| A friend has purchased a used Sun Cobalt 3 (blue) and will no doubt want me to configure it. I gather it runs linux, but is there a Sun version for them, or do you just use any Linux? I'm hoping its the former. How do you get software on them - there is no CD? Is it via a network boot? Any advice on that appreciated. Anything to be aware of? Any 'gotchas' ?? |

A physical inspection should make it very obvious which one you have.
