Default Sun Management Console crashes

I run Solaris 9 on a SparcStation 5 with 96mb internal memory
I tried to open the Sun Management Console yesterday, for the first
time. I can see from the console (logged in as root) that it compiles a
lot of stuff. Then it tries to register some items. But at registering
setup 2/8 it suddenly crashes. Not only the management console but
EVERYTHING. I have to do a STOP A to go to the OK prompt and do a boot.

I have not been able to run the management console succesfully. Anyone
knows what is going on here?

Does 96 Mb meed the minimum requirement for Solaris 9? I've no idea,
but it must be close to the minimum, if not below it.

That must have been it. I have since then upgraded the memory to 160Mb
and the problem has not returned. Thanks for the answer.
