Default Suncluster 2.2 with oracle 9i anyone?

I understand that suncluster 2.2 is not supported by Sun with SAP on
oracle 9i.
Is anyone running Suncluster 2.2 with oracle 9 as a database server
hosted on it?
I can't see any reason why it should not work, so I'm interested if
anyone does it?
We don't really want to move to Suncluster 3 until we migrate to a new
platform, but need to upgrade oracle for other reasons.

TIA, Andy.
