| At Comdex today Sun announced its intentions to add a complete portfolio of AMD Opteron microprocessor-based servers and desktops running Solaris(tm), Linux, and the Java(tm) Enterprise System to Sun's entry-level family of UltraSPARC and Xeon-based x86-based systems. I hope Sun pulls it off and locks M$ out; the fate of the unfree world is at stake. |
