I can't count how often I had to login to SunSolve recently because it seems to time out authentication quickly. I suspect it's (a) not you and (b) because increasingly large numbers of machines are downloading patches etc directly off the net and it's overwhelming the machines and/or bandwidth behind sunsolve. --tim |

Does Sun know about this? Setting up *more* regional patch database hosts around the globe might leverage the issue, what do you think? For anonymous ftp access, they should implement GeoIP [maxmind.com] sort of thing.
