Hello people,

I have this very odd problem, and I can't find what causes it.
Namely, executing sync in OpenBoot causes kernel to panic. It's Solaris
9 04/04 on Sun Blade 150 and SunFire v100...

It is supposed to do so.

Do help sync on OpenBoot prompt.

That's what "sync" is supposed to do. (It's a "sync of last resort";
it will make the kernel panic so it will flush outstanding writes)

What were you expecting it to do?

Oh I see, I tought it works similar to sync in OS.
